About me
My name is Amanda M. Delfin and I have been a Certified Massage Therapist in Sacramento, CA since 1993, and a professional member of the American Bodywork Massage Professionals (ABMP) since 1996. I am excited about bringing Wellness massage to you. After graduation it was very natural for me to take many different classes, workshops and seminars to continue to improve my massage knowledge and skills. I took a class in senior massage and fell in love with it. Now I get to bring my knowledge and skill to you.
Specializing in Senior Wellness massage I use gentle Swedish style massage. I Taylor each massage to your special needs. Massage can be performed with the client lying down or seated in a wheelchair. Special attention is given to the hands and feet, improving circulation and creating a heightened sense of body awareness and deep relaxation.
Your body repairs itself throughout your lifetime, but with each year the process becomes a little less efficient. The body gradually loses some of its ability to spring back from the wear and tear of daily living. Even healthy individuals who remain vigorous into their nineties may accumulate an assortment of issues. I am a compassionate professional therapist who is experienced and comfortable working with clients of all ages and fitness levels. I draw upon many age-appropriate massage techniques - Swedish, Geriatric, Deep Tissue, Seated (Chair and Wheelchair), - to help you achieve your wellness goals.
